Bank of Uganda (B.O.U)
Bank of Uganda, the Central Bank of Uganda, is the founder and major funder of the Uganda Institute of Banking and Financial Services. The Governor Bank of Uganda is the Patron of the Institute. The Bank of Uganda offers big support to the Institute annually, both financially and otherwise.

The Uganda Bankers Association (UBA)
The Uganda Bankers’ Association is a forum that brings together all clearing banks in the country. Currently, it comprises twenty-two (22) commercial banks, both local and international. The member banks also constitute the major share holders/owners of the Uganda Institute of Banking and Financial Services. They make regular annual subscriptions to the Institute to promote its sustainability.
Makerere University (MUK)
The Uganda Institute of Banking and Financial Services works very closely with Makerere University. Currently the Institute is working with this University to operationalise the pursuit of a Masters Degree in Financial Services by October 2010, with awards by Makerere University.
