Corporate Members

Requirements for Corporate Membership

• Only Banks, Statutory Bodies, Regulatory Bodies, Development Partners, and other registered Financial Institutions within Uganda’s banking and financial services industry are eligible to apply for Corporate Membership
• Payment of Ugx 5,000,000/= as Corporate  member Joining Fees
• Annual Subscription for Commercial Banks  is on a pro-rata basis ( based on Total Bank assets & HeadCount)
• Development Banks, Credit Institutions, MDIs, Regulatory/ Statutory bodies, and other Financial Institutions pay a flat fee of Ugx 5,000,000 as Annual Subscription

Benefits to Corporate members

• • Unlimited collaborative opportunities in the areas of research and innovation geared towards the attainment of the mandate of both UIBFS and corporate member for example promotion of data driven culture within the Banking and financial services industry
  • Ability to have short skills and specialized trainings tailored to Corporate member staff and or stakeholders using a cascading price structure. This will address staff knowledge and competency gaps leading to increased staff productivity
  • Corporate member staff get to participate in the Institute’s Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Programs at discounted rates. These topics cover all areas of banking and Finance, focus on ethics & integrity which aim to improve staff culture and value system
  • Corporate member will get to participate in the Institute’s membership events and activities such as the Annual Banking and financial Services Awareness month, Annual Sports Galas and This gives Corporate member an opportunity to join and network with all banks, financial institutions and other key industry players
  • Corporate member will receive free monthly newsletters and quarterly financial services magazines which serve as forum for disseminating key developments in the financial services sector
  • Corporate member will have the opportunity to advertise in the magazine and newsletter at discounted rates to display your services, news and updates and contribute articles in the Magazine
  • Corporate member will be eligible to post job opportunities posted directly on the Institute’s website at no cost
  • Corporate member will receive discounted conference sponsorship opportunities such as  East African Banking School Conference, members forums
  • Corporate member will have the Opportunity to be represented on the Institute’s Governance Structure such as the board and Council
